The Greenword Tree Team

Bel Greenwood set up The Greenword Tree because she wants children and young people to experience the wonder and adventure of writing and performance.  She has always written things down whether as a journalist filing copy or filling notebooks with observations and dreams. After taking an M.A. in Creative Writing at the University of East Anglia, she determined to write full time and set up projects with children. She has won awards for her scriptwriting and prose.  Recently, she is one of 20 artists for climate change, a project set up by Norfolk County Council to get artists to work creatively in schools and the community around the issues of climate change and carbon reduction.
